So this week, i was really trying to figure out how the Spirit
talks to me, and how i know if it was really a prompting.. Like
seriously all week i studied about that. Sunday we had a mission
conference, since it was fast Sunday they did things a little different.
So the MTC presidency and their wives talked to us. A lot of the talks
were about obedience and the spirit. AWESOME. I learned so much! Real
power comes from obedience, oh and i loved this: "OBEDIENCE is the
price, FAITH is the power, the SPIRIT is the key, CHRIST is the reason,
LOVE is the motive, JOY is the reward." I have no idea where it came
from but i love it. President Nally said that "When truth pierces
hearts, it's like a personal earthquake." And then for our district
meeting we talked about the Holy Ghost, and in class night we talked
about the Spirit! It was just what i needed.. We watched this mtc
devotional from David A Bednar, and he said the Stop worrying if it's
the Spirit, in the moment, you don't need to know that it is a spiritual
prompting. If i am doing the best that i possibly can, i should just
do, if it's a good thought, it's of God and it doesn't really matter
where it came from. And at the same time, i need to rely on the Spirit
and have courage. And open my mouth. He doesn't put words in your mouth
so you'll open it, you open your mouth and He'll fill it with words.

Hmmmm what else happened this week. Neil L Anderson
spoke to us!! He talked about love and sacrifice. We sacrifice for the
things we love, and we love the things we sacrifice for. Leanr to put
"I" away for a while haha. If we serve our mission faithfully, humbly,
etc, it will be a badge of honor in the life to come. Those were just a
few of things he said. It was awesome:) Then on the way home, it POURED.
my shoes are still wet;) Not really but we were soaked.
Overall the days, are going by way better and WAY
FASTER! I only have 14 days left in here! I can tell this mission is
going to go soooo fast.
I have been studying a
lot in Luke also, so just kind of all about Christ:) and i love the
parables! I don't have a lot of time left and i want to send pictures,
but i really like luke15 and luke20. the parables. Dahh get me.
Also, i think i'm going to mass email this chunk:) but it's hard to tell you everything that is happening bc SO much happens!
