Well Irma Holden has been in the MTC and is crazy busy learning tons. They run a tight ship over there so she hasn't had time to create a post yet but I will do my best to keep you updated. In her first email she was so excited that she has gotten her official name tag- and lets face it who wouldn't be excited about that. Her P-Days are on Tuesdays and they have the opportunity to attend the temple in the morning and write family during free time during the day. She has said nothing but good things about her experiences so far. She absolutely loves her companion, who is a gal named Sister Nelson from Montana. She says that they get along great! Well here's a blip from one of her first emails:
"The MTC is amazing. i seriously love it here! I love the spirit that is ALWAYS around. awesome. Eu sei que o Espirito e muito muito bem e importante. (I know that the spirit is really really good, and is important.) Not fluent yet, but we LEARN SO MUCH EVERY DAY! Time goes by so weird here. i feel as if i've been here forever bc im learning so much but at the same time i feel like i got here yesterday... idk.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SEND LETTERS!! emails are so nice, but letters are so much more fun and encouraging i feel like.."
Heres her Provo address in case you need it:
Sister Janelle Celeste Holden

Today she sent us some pictures! (she finally got them to attach to an email- love that girl ha) I hope I have labelled them correctly but here she is!
This is her and her companion Sister Nelson on her first day. She calls the dots on her name tag "dork dots" ha.

Brazil!! Gotta take a picture by the big map.
Roomies! Sister kirk is the tiny one, she left from brazil today!
In n out and missionaries, what else does the world need? ;)
There you have it... Sister Holden! (I don't know if I'll ever get used to calling her that). I know that she is growing spiritually everyday and really is dedicating her spirit and energies to the Lord. What better role model could we ask for! At the end of every email she says emails are nice but handwritten letters are so much more encouraging. So please find a few minutes to write her and share your love and thoughts with her. I know she will absolutely love it! In the meantime I will do my best to keep everyone updated.
Thanks!
