Blonde in Brazil: Week 2 Sept 30,2013

Wow i don't have a whole lot of time to write... This week was good i guess. I can't remember what happens:P haha.

Last Monday was really hard... so we went and played with Ferrets= the coolest. I'll add a picture.

Tuesday, the 24th, we taught Danielle, she is awesome. We taught the Restoration and she seemed interested and said she'd read the Book of Mormon, and we are excited to go and talk to her again:)

Wednesday, we talked to Carl and his wife Linda, her questions were kind of intimidating.. and as i bore my testimony of the Book of Mormon, she thought it was because i was scared or something ha, we tried explaining but Carl likes to talk. So we couldn't haha. love them both though.

Thursday.. Weekly planning days... We did service at the Chichester's house... :) then weekly planning.. It actually wasn't too bad this time. Then we taugh Silve! She is from Africa!:) And is super sweet, we're going back on thursday.

Friday we did service at a farm.. and guess what Mom! I have Cherry pickin fingers hahaha. So does elder Johnson :P Then we did our studies, and went to the ward campout! SOO much fun. i love smores:) So much.

Saturday was full of studies and we did a little bit more service and then went to the Relief Society Broadcast! 1, it was so cool, there were soo many sister missionaries there! 2, i loved the talks so much, especially President Monson's, super excited for General Conference.

Sunday was fast sunday... Holy cow.. i felt bad. i was not in the best mood.. ha. i was starving! but it was alright.. we tracted a little bit, found Patty:) super excited to talk to her. then we had dinner at the Hope's and they gave us a couple more jacket! So nice :)

Today, the 30th, we studied, went winter clothes shopping, I got some boots that i think will be good in Brazil too:) But man i don't like shopping. It took soo much time ha. but oh! we also tried like the famous Chicago Hot Dog. Muito bom! :) yum. oh and we accidently drove into Wisconsin! ha we are sooo close to the border!(don't make fun of my picture.. it was at 6:30 in the morning! :P)

Hmmm anything else.. I love the emails and letters:) I miss you so much!

Keep reading your scriptures, saying your prayers, putting oil in your lamps, and gaining a bigger portion of the Spirit. I wish i studied more and prayed harder growing up. I wish i would've payed better attention in church and seminary, don't take advantage of it! I love being a missionary and i can already feel the tag being engraved on my heart. This church is the true church. I love my Savior, i know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Cristo, and i am grateful for all the support i get. i love this church. and i love sharing it!
